Cal Zant published his IPRF World Championship equipment survey on Precision Rifle Blog on 2 November 2026. He says it covers more than 260 competitors from 24 countries. Only 30 represented the United States.
In the cartridge breakdown, 6mm Dasher leads at 31 percent, followed by 6.5 Creedmoor at 23 percent. An important qualification: Zant excludes the Limited Division, which requires .308 Winchester, from this chart. These percentages therefore do not describe the entire field.
The survey also covers scopes, actions, stocks, bipods and other equipment. It documents this championship field’s choices, rather than an independent product test or overall market share. The full charts and explanations are available in the linked original article. The illustrative image does not show any particular championship competitor’s equipment.
