Lothar Walther becomes the foundation of the new WX Group

The businesses in Königsbronn and Cumming, Georgia, form the foundation of the new WX Group. Dr. Frank Walther and Gerd Walther are supporting the transition. Franz von Stauffenberg will lead the group.
For precision shooting, the announcement concerns an established rifle barrel supplier. Lothar Walther’s website lists offerings for 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5×47 Lapua and 6.5 PRC, among others.
The WX Group aims to bring together further specialist component manufacturers. According to the announcement, brands, locations and workforces are to be retained. The succession announcement does not introduce specific new products or changes to delivery terms.
