The Seekins Precision PH3-NRL is among the rifles recognised in Outdoor Life’s latest annual comparison. Published on 6 October 2026, John B. Snow’s report gives it the “Editor’s Choice, Best Crossover” award: a rifle intended to bridge hunting and hunting-oriented precision competition.

The equipment described includes a full-length ARCA rail on the fore-end and compatibility with AICS magazines. The PH3-NRL therefore addresses shooters seeking one rifle for different roles. The award recognises that versatile approach across hunting and competition.

Snow’s results table lists the PH3-NRL in 6.5 Creedmoor with Federal 140 CTR at approximately 12.7 mm average five-shot groups and a 20.8 mm 20-shot group. Berger 130 OTM produces 16.3 and 24.4 mm, while Winchester 140 SLR produces 23.0 and 27.9 mm. These figures are converted from the published inch measurements. The tested rifle has a barrel of approximately 610 mm and weighs about 3.66 kg. Snow’s criticisms include the magazine-release location.
